The WebDav Client Redirector Driver service is a file system driver. If WebDav Client Redirector Driver fails to start, the error is recorded into the Event Log. Windows Vista startup proceeds, but a message box is displayed informing you that the MRxDAV service has failed to start. At least one service depends on WebDav Client Redirector Driver. Therefore I do not recommend you to disable it.
WebDav Client Redirector Driver will not start, if the Redirected Buffering Sub Sysytem service is stopped or disabled.
If WebDav Client Redirector Driver is stopped, the WebClient fails to start and initialize.
