Default Behavior
The Remote Desktop Device Redirector Driver service is a kernel mode driver. If Remote Desktop Device Redirector Driver fails to start, the error is logged. Windows 8 startup proceeds, but a message box is displayed informing you that the RDPDR service has failed to start.
Dependencies
Remote Desktop Device Redirector Driver won't start, if the Redirected Buffering Sub System service is stopped or disabled.
If Remote Desktop Device Redirector Driver is stopped, the Remote Desktop Services UserMode Port Redirector fails to start and initialize.

Note. Make sure that the rdpdr.sys file exists in the %WinDir%\System32\drivers folder. If this file is missing you can try to restore it from your Windows 8 installation media.
