The DFS Namespace Client Driver service is a file system driver. If the DFS Namespace Client Driver fails to load or initialize, the error is recorded into the Event Log. Windows 7 startup should proceed, but a message box is displayed informing you that the DfsC service has failed to start.
DFS Namespace Client Driver will not start, if the Mup service is stopped or disabled.
