Default Behavior

The Named pipe service trigger provider is a kernel mode driver. If Named pipe service trigger provider fails to start, the error is logged, and Windows 11 tries to restart, using the Last Known Good configuration. This could result in the computer being able to restart, but this service may still be unable to run. Do NOT change its startup configuration.

5. Right-click the batch file again and select Run as administrator.

6. Restart the computer to save changes.

Note. Make sure that the npsvctrig.sys file exists in the %WinDir%\System32\drivers folder. If this file is missing you can try to restore it from your Windows 11 installation media.
