User Data Access - Windows 10 Service
Provides apps access to structured user data, including contact info, calendars, messages, and other content. If you stop or disable this service, apps that use this data might not work correctly.
This service also exists in Windows 11.

Default Behavior
If User Data Access fails to load or initialize, Windows 10 start up proceeds. No warning is displayed, but the error is recorded into the Event Log.
Dependencies
User Data Access is unable to start, if the User Data Storage service is stopped or disabled.
Restore Default Startup Type of User Data Access
Automated Restore
1. Select your Windows 10 edition and release, and then click on the Download button below.
2. Save the RestoreUserDataAccessWindows10.bat file to any folder on your hard drive.
3. Right-click the downloaded batch file and select Run as administrator.
4. Restart the computer to save changes.
Note. Make sure that the userdataservice.dll file exists in the %WinDir%\System32 folder. If this file is missing you can try to restore it from your Windows 10 installation media.
