Secondary Logon - Windows 10 Service

Enables starting processes under alternate credentials. If this service is stopped, this type of logon access will be unavailable. If this service is disabled, any services that explicitly depend on it will fail to start.

This service also exists in Windows 11, 7, 8, Vista and XP.

Default Behavior

is runningin a shared process. Other services might run in the same process. If Secondary Logon fails to start, the error is logged. Windows 10 startup proceeds, but a message box is displayed informing you that the seclogon service has failed to start.
