Default Behavior

The Microsoft Hyper-V Guest Infrastructure Driver service is a kernel mode driver. If Microsoft Hyper-V Guest Infrastructure Driver fails to start, the error is logged. Windows 10 startup proceeds, but a message box is displayed informing you that the vmgid service has failed to start.

Dependencies

If Microsoft Hyper-V Guest Infrastructure Driver is stopped, the Hyper-V Time Synchronization Service fails to start and initialize.
