|Display name:||Windows Perception Service|
The Windows Perception Service is running as NT AUTHORITY\LocalService in its own process of spectrum.exe. It doesn't share its process with other services. If Windows Perception Service fails to start, the error is logged. Windows 10 startup proceeds, but a message box is displayed informing you that the spectrum service has failed to start.
Windows Perception Service is unable to start, if the Remote Procedure Call (RPC) service is stopped or disabled.
